Cirque du Soleil is coming to Málaga, Spain in December with their dazzling show Quidam. A wonderful event for all the family, here’s a little bit about the moving, memorable story…
Quidam: a nameless passer-by, a solitary figure lingering on a street corner, a person rushing past and swallowed by the crowd. It could be anyone, anybody. Someone coming or going at the heart of our anonymous society. A member of the crowd, one of the silent majority. The one who cries out, sings and dreams within us all.
A story about a young girl who has seen all there is to see, and she is frustrated in her own little world. She escapes into the world of Quidam, accompanied by a joyful and a mysterious being. They will try to seduce her by showing her the wonderful, the disturbing and the terrifying. A show not to be missed…for more details, click here.
Málaga is a fantastic holiday hotspot and enjoys a warm Mediterranean climate and is a pleasant enough 13°C degrees at this time of year. It can be pretty wet in December, however, it’s still warm and there’s a non too shoddy five hours of sunshine to enjoy (beats London’s piddly average of one hour of sun a day at this time of year). Daytime temperatures can even peak in the 20s if the winds from Africa blow in and the sun is shining. It’s unlikely to dip lower than 9°C and it’ll never snow – the same can’t be said of back home…book those flights!
