Summer 2015 is shaping up to be a fantastic season for First Choice with an exciting new line-up of exclusive properties opening for the first time, now available to book. From May 2015, guests will enjoy five new SplashWorld resorts in Menorca, Hurghada, Crete, Tunisia and Costa Del Sol.
First Choice SplashWorld holidays are designed for thrill-seeking, water enthusiasts. Staying at a SplashWorld resort means unlimited access to the wettest and wildest waterparks, either on-site or a short distance away. All guests can ride the slides, which have been fully tested and rated by our expert testers, as many times as they want.
Jaz Makadi Aquaviva – Hurghada
Must-try slide: 19 metre free-fall
The brand new Jaz Makadi Aquaviva in Hurghada offers guests unlimited access to the onsite Makadi Water World which is home to 50 slides, including a jaw-dropping 19 metre free-fall slide, chutes and a dedicated area for children. The hotel itself offers a free bus to the nearby beach, two pools of its own, spacious and stylish bedrooms and a nearby 18-hole golf course.
Venus Beach – Tunisia
Must try slide: Space Tunnel
The Venus Beach resort is the latest addition to the already impressive range of family focussed properties that First Choice has to offer in Tunisia. This SplashWorld ticks all of the boxes slide wise and suits even the most experienced water-slider. It features a range of splash-tastic slides such as a ‘Space tunnel’, ‘Black hole’ and a range of pools situated right by the sea.
Globales Playa Estepona – Costa Del Sol
Must-try slide: Space bowl
Costa Del Sol will see the addition of the Globales Playa Estepona SplashWorld Resort. , This 4Sun resort features white-knuckle free fall slides, body slides and the awesome ‘Space bowl’ where sliders zoom down a chute before slipping and sliding round a giant bowl. The hotel also boasts a duo of pools, one of which is a giant L-shaped pool with bar and the other a relaxed pool situated in the gardens. Situated right on the beach, it features sleek new bedrooms and a range of restaurants.
Atlantica Akti Zeus – Crete
Must-try slide: Boomerango
The addition of the Atlantica Akti Zeus means that Crete finally has a SplashWorld resort of its own. The property will open its brand new water park for May 2015 which has ‘Kamikaze’ and multi-lane slides as well as kids’ spray park. The main attraction is the ‘Boomerango’ where the more experienced cool pool pro can team up with a mate to fly down the ramp in a double rubber ring, right up to the top of a peak and back. The hotel itself situated on the beach and its restaurants offer fantastic views of the sea.
Sur Menorca – Menorca
Must-try slide: Multi-lane racer
The Sur Menorca SplashWorld resort will feature a brand new waterpark for summer 2015, large pool, speed slides, lazy river and multi-lane racer where competitive super-sliders can take on friends to decide who the splash expert is amongst the group.
