All the vibrant colours are out in force on the fallen leaves and with holidaymakers having mostly gone home by November, it's a perfect time to go on some walks and feel at one with nature in the crisp air. On one of the nicer days you can even spend an afternoon fishing on the beach for the ultimate experience in relaxation.
November is a quiet month in terms of events, which is to be expected with the change in weather.
Nonetheless, for those eager to get out and see some activities, the Roseland Festival in the Roseland Peninsulaa is still going on at the start of the month, and includes music, film and dance-related events throughout its tenure. There are also the obligatory Bonfire Night celebrations on the 5th November, so expect a great public fireworks display and keep warm with the food and drink on sale.
The Esplanade Hotel is a great place to visit if you're travelling with the family. The rooms are available at low rates, to suit a budget, and the hotel has everything from a kids' club to a spa.
