Rainfall

The final month of the year is a busy one in Nassau, as the weather has calmed down and the festive season is upon us. This means there are plentiful accommodation options available to visitors at this time, including The Island House. Cable Beach
Most beach front hotels have private stretches of beach, and this means you can kick back and relax, whilst being waited on hand and foot. Cable Beach is the capital's main stretch, but this is also the busiest and most crowded. Having said that, there are countless other smaller beaches, which are hidden away, all around the coastline of the capital, so you won't be short of somewhere to lay your towel down for the day.

This is a great way to try lots of different things all at once, and many seafood options too. The restaurant is very modern-looking, mid-priced ranged, and laid-back all at the same time.

Of course, you might simply want to enjoy more Italian food, then Luciano's of Chicago is for you. The tiramisu here is amazing, and you can enjoy fine dining with a much lower price tag than you might expect. The location is fantastic, and the views will blow your mind.
Things to Do in Nassau in December
Straw Market
Perhaps you want to do a little pre-festive season shopping, or you simply want to enjoy spending your holiday cash, and in that case you are spoilt for choice. Straw Market is a good traditional place to go, and as the name suggests, sells traditional straw goods, which are all handmade. Nearby Festival Place is a large shopping mall and entertainment district, with air conditioning and lots of cafes and bars for a pitstop halfway through your retail therapy. Do not forget to head to Swiss Pastry Shop, as this place sells the best cakes you will find anywhere on the island!
Predator Lagoon
The cooler weather also means getting out and about is much easier, and Predator Lagoon is a must do for those travelling with kids. This is a large nature park with an aquarium filled with huge sharks and other oceanic predators.
Sea Lion Experience at Dolphin Cay
Sea Lion Experience at Dolphin Cay is the ideal way to finish off your year and will certainly give you something to talk about into the New Year. You can meet these funny animals and enjoy spending a little time with them, with the help of a trainer to give you important advice and information on how they live, what they do, and also to help you spend better time with them.
