My Holiday at the Caribbean World Resort, Nabeul

Weather
Went from 7th to 21st June 2009. The weather was very hot, usually in the high 80's to low 90's, with the very occasional breeze. Still when it gets too hot, there are 2 pools to jump into!
Holiday
The Caribbean World was a really nice hotel, not over elaborate, but comfortable. The rooms, although not enormous, were spacious and comfortable, with a fair size bathroom. The food was edible, although not first class cuisine. If you did not like what they had on the buffet (either salads or hot food), then you could always have pasta or pizza cooked before you, which was superb. Meals did include roast lamb and turkey, amongst other things. The animation team were absolutely superb and kept us entertained throughout our 2 week stay - and very topically, Marco's Michael Jackson evening was something to behold! When not doing this, they were organising cabarets, sketch shows and many other events which kept us all amused of an evening. During the daytime, they organised archery, bowls, aerobics, water aerobics, gymnastics, table tennis and various other events (should you not wish to sunbathe)! If you did not want to relax around either of the two pools, then there is also a nice sandy beach across the road for good measure. In addition, there was a market around the main poolside every Tuesday selling handbags, shoes, t-shirts, sunglasses, watches, pottery and jewellery. I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my 2 week stay there and certainly didn't want to come back home again.
