Things to do in Mykonos in April

There are many churches that are worth a visit on Mykonos and the Church of Saint George is always open with many lovely icons and paintings. Built in the 15th century it is a small church of Cycladic style with a beautifully carved ceiling.

Another religious place is the Paleokastro Monastery that was a nunnery in the 18th century. There is a gorgeous altar and a huge slab of granite outside that could be an ancient place to worship. The interior has many icons as do most Greek churches.
