Club Nautica beach
If you're into sailing, then this is the beach for you! Club Nautica beach is not technically open the public all the time as it is affiliated to users of the popular marina and yacht haven. The beach is accessed through the port, and although small, it does have a restaurant. If you are not a boat owner, it is still possible sometimes to get in, but it is best to ask first instead of just walking in there.

Hot Air Balloon
If you're looking for things to do in Moraira then consider soaring over the Mediterranean in the basket of a hot air balloon. Gaze down at the sea, mountain ranges and medieval towns that dot the countryside. While the cost of this activity may be steep, it includes breakfast, champagne and photographs from the trip.
Supermarkets
You'll find plenty of shops in Moraira. If you need to pick up a few supplies then a stop at a local supermarket is required. Most supermarkets are open until 8pm in the evening and stock both European and British brands. In the village, you'll find a selection of boutiques, hairdressers, banks, gift shops and shoe shops. Shops do close for a siesta but it's still well worth visiting.

Alternatively, you might want to visit the local markets. Opening every Friday, these markets are famous for their goods. Here, you'll be able to purchase fruit and vegetables, Spanish dresses and clothes for children, fashion accessories, homewares and flowers.
Dates to note
In the middle of April, the famous Running of the Bull occurs in nearby Teulada. Located just eight minutes away from Moraira, the event features large bulls being set loose in the winding city streets to chase after locals and tourist alike. However, beware as many people are hurt if they don't keep up or get out of the way!
