Montreal Museum of Fine Arts

This is Montreal's largest museum and is located along the famous Golden Square Mile stretch of Sherbrooke Street. This museum houses beautiful, exquisite art works ranging from the medieval to the contemporary era and lots of interesting and beautiful pieces of art. Keep aside some time for this place if you plan on visiting for it can take you more than 2 or 3 hours to fully appreciate its beauty and magnificence.
Belvédère Kondiaronk
Belvédère Kondiaronk is an observatory located on Mont Royal and which offers a spectacular view of the entire city of Montreal. This observatory visit can be combined with a trek up the hill to reach Belvédère Kondiaronk. The place is essentially empty with just a few chairs, bathrooms and vending machines to cater to tourists. Nevertheless, it is a great little spot to rest after a strenuous climb up hill. The wonderful view of downtown Montreal that this observatory offers is not to be missed. If you are interested to trek uphill, you may have to reserve half a day for this adventure.
