What's the weather like in Mojacar in March?
Temperature
March is a slightly warmer month leading on from February, with daily average temperatures rising up to 14°C. This is a great improvement which means your holiday will be a more pleasant one, with highs that go up as far as 17°C. This is a great mild temperature for this time of year, especially when compared with other parts of the world.
Rain
Spring has truly started in Mojacar, and while the average daily lows may be 11°C, you will just need to wrap up warm to combat those colder days. Pack accordingly and there should be no reason not to fully enjoy your holiday! Rainfall rises to 20mm through the month, but this covers just 10 days.
Sunshine Hours
That means plenty of dry time to explore and you will have 9 hours of sunshine a day in which to do it. That increase from 8 hours in the winter time means that the warmer weather is on its way, as the heat of the sun lasts for longer every evening.
Sea Temperature
It is still chilly on the beaches, however, with temperatures in the sea standing at an average of 15°C. This is not so bad if you have a wetsuit, or are used to swimming in unheated waters and is also very pleasant on days when the outside temperature is lower. Together with February this is the coldest point for the sea, but it does get warmer as the months go on. It is pretty much the same story up and down the coast, with nearby Almeria experiencing the same kind of temperatures at this time of year. The similar climates mean that your choice of coastal resort can be based on what kind of things you can get up to in the area, rather than being too heavily influenced by the temperatures.
