What's the weather like in Mojacar in June?
Sunshine Hours
If you are planning to visit in June, be prepared for the start of the summer season! Mojacar really starts to get busy this year as the temperatures are starting to pick up. And no wonder with 13 hours of sunshine a day, all of that heat has to go somewhere. Mostly it goes into keeping the days hot, with average temperatures of 22°C making for a very pleasant climate indeed.
Temperature
The highs and lows also tell a very pleasing story. You can expect to see temperatures to go up all the way to 26°C, and even when they drop, they will only go as far as 18°C. That's warmer than the average highest temperatures in March, just three months earlier! The warmth levels are also helped by the lack of rainfall, which is surely exciting for those who want to explore the resort as fully as possible. Just 8mm of rain will fall, and that covers 5 days less than a week out of the month.
Sea Temperature
The average sea temperature is going to rise to 21°C, so going for a swim is an absolute must. You can also be pleased with yourself for choosing an excellent resort at which to do so: travelling just a little further along the coast to San Javier, close by to the Murcia Airport, temperatures actually drop just a little corresponding to a similar rise in rainfall.
Keep checking the weather forecast and you will notice that this resort actually has a great position when compared to the locations on either side which may be a little cooler! That makes this the perfect place to take in some sun and sit back on the sand ready for an occasional dip in the sea. Just remember to protect yourself with sunglasses, suntan lotion, and a good hat.
