What's the weather like in Mojacar in July?
Temperature
The average daily temperature for July is a fantastic 25°C in Mojacar, which makes this the peak summertime. It does not get much hotter than this along with August, this is the joint hottest month of the year. That means it's time to get your shorts and t-shirts on but don't forget the sun cream! Highs can go up as far as 28°C, while the average daily low only drops as far as 21°C, which is certainly still very warm indeed.
Rain
This is when you can see the most contrast to the winter months, as the heat actually more than doubles from the cooler start to the year. The rainfall drops off hugely in the summer, which definitely helps to build that heat up with just 1mm of rain expected to come over three days this month. This helps to make the heat bearable too, as it comes without the humidity of more tropical climates.
Sunshine Hours
You won't need to check the weather forecast for rain but you will definitely want to keep an eye on the temperature to see just how hot it can get! Long summer days of an average of 13 hours of sunshine mean lots of time for walks on the beach and exploring the local area.
Sea Temperature
Of course, you might just stick around and enjoy the beach itself. Average sea temperatures of 23°C mean you might never want to get out of the water! Swimming and water sports are ideal pastimes right now, so take the plunge. The temperature may rise in August, but that doesn't stop this from being your next best option. Do bear in mind, however, that the summer is the busiest time for tourism in Spain, so you might just have a bit of competition for the best spot on the sand unless you go down early.
