September is still summer in Mogan and the temperatures are still high and the days are still long and sunny. This is a better time of year to visit if wanting to avoid the larger crowds of July and August. The sea temperatures are at their warmest this month at 23°C, making it the perfect time to enjoy the beaches and water sports available without the crowds. The days are gradually getting shorter as autumn approaches, but there are still 10 hours of sunshine each day. Days are decreasing in length by around 50 minutes from the first of the month to the last day. Sunrise at the start of September is at 7.40am, while the sun sets at 8.20pm, so still plenty of opportunity to enjoy the balmy evenings.

This month sees average temperatures of 25°C, with average highs and lows of between 22°C at night to 27°C at the hottest time of day. These are similar conditions to Santorini in Greece for the same time of year. Cloud cover ranges from 30% to 37%, mostly clear and humidity ranges from 55%, mildly humid, to 85% humid, staying fairly comfortable. Wind speeds are dropping slightly at this time of year, ranging from 3 m/s, light breeze, to 12 m/s, strong breeze, and rarely getting above 14 m/s.

The climate at this resort continues to be fairly dry, although the end of summer means more rain. Average rainfall in this month increases to 9mm falling over 3 days, so it is unlikely that rain will spoil any plans. If it does rain, it is likely to be moderate or light showers. Check the forecast before travelling to see the current conditions.
