Avg Historical Daily Average

The length of each day is constant throughout the month with the highest daily hours of sunshine for the whole year at 12 hours per day. This is one of the busiest months of the year to visit, as hundreds of visitors come to the resort to enjoy these gorgeous conditions and beautiful beaches. It is a great time to head to the beach and take part in water sports or swimming as sea temperatures are a warm 22°C.

During the day the average temperature is 24°C, similar to Barcelona in Spain. Average high and low temperatures range from 21°C overnight to a lovely and warm 27°C during the day. Humidity ranges from mildly humid 55% to a humid 85%, but tends not to get too uncomfortable due to the sea breezes. Wind speeds vary from a moderate breeze of 7 m/s to a high wind of 14 m/s. Sometimes the winds can pick up and get quite strong at this time of year and reach 16 m/s. If the Calima occurs, the hot and dusty winds that blow from the African coast can push temperatures up to 10°C above average. Keeping near to the coast and cooling down in the sea are the best ways to keep refreshed if this does happen during your visit.

July is one of the driest months of the year at this resort with an average rainfall of 0mm throughout. Chances of seeing rain are therefore very low and a 1% chance of rain on any given day means it is the perfect time to enjoy outdoor activities.
