Milford Sound is the ideal place to go to for superb natural wonders. Spectacular waterfalls cascade down sheer rock faces that rise up more than a thousand meters from the still waters. Among them are Bowen Falls, Fairy Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and Stirling Falls. All throughout the year, Milford Sound remains the wettest place in the country.
