Temperature

Recently voted top of the New York Times' '52 Places to go to in 2015' list, Milan is one of the most popular holiday destinations to visit right now. Located in the northern Lombardy region of Italy, the city is most famously known for its fashion scene as well as its amazing architecture and vibrant culture.

If you're visiting Milan in October, you'll need to know what the weather is like and what to pack. Milan has a mostly Mediterranean climate with some big variations in seasons. October marks the end of summer in Milan and the start of autumn. This means the temperatures are still mild, but slightly on the cooler side and there is some expectation of rain. The weather can be fairly unpredictable and changeable, though, so if you visit Milan at this time of the year it would be wise to pack some warm clothes as well as something waterproof and remember to check the forecast.

In October, the average daily temperature in Milan is 14.5°C but temperatures can still reach highs of 19°C which can feel quite pleasant. Temperatures are starting to drop low during this month though, especially at night. The average minimum temperature in Milan in October is 10°C.
