What's the Weather Like in Miami in July

Temperature

Monthly temperatures reach their height in July, which together with August and September is the highest point of the year in this part of Florida. Summer is definitely underway, and a heatwave begins with average daily temperatures of 28°C

Sunshine

Miami starts to really soak up the sun, with around 12 hours of sunshine a day beating down on the area.

High/Low Temperature

That leads to average highs of 31°C and lows of 24°C, giving you a range of very warm days all month long.

Rain

They will not all be dry days, however, as there are an average of 15 days of rainfall here this month. That means around half the month is wet, so if you are staying for a couple of weeks, you will definitely see some rainstorms. An average of 155mm will fall, which means that the rain is quite well spread out over those days.

Humidity

This leads to a fairly humid month, though the humidity will be set to rise over the next couple of months as the rainfall increase. This is a good time to come if you want the maximum heat but a little less rain.

Sea Temperature

The sea is very warm with an average temperature of 29°C. Highs will also rise above this figure, so you can absolutely expect to get very warm swims indeed. Time at the beach is time well-spent this month as you can enjoy a serious tanning session or just fun in the sun and surf. Visitors to the USA at this time of year could do a lot worse than spending time on the white sands of this city!

On the other side of Florida in Cape Coral you will see a similar story, with slightly hotter high temperatures. However, the chance of rain is also higher here, so the humidity will be raised. If you think it's too humid already on the Miami side of Florida, then you definitely don't want to go across to the other side.
