What's the Weather Like in Miami in February
Temperature
You may well expect that the weather in Miami is good all year round, and you would be right. Even in February, you can expect to see warm temperatures combined with very little rainfall.
Let's take a look at the averages so we can understand everything a little more: in February, the highest average temperature is 24°C, going down to an average low of 16°C. When you compare this to January you can see there is a slightly higher temperature average, coming out at the same daily average of 20°C but with the potential to get a little warmer.
This means the weather is gradually getting warmer as the year continues, so if you find it too cold in the middle of winter, you are getting closer to a more agreeable temperature.
You are going to see marginally warmer weather here than on the other side of the state in Naples, with average lows going as far as 14°C. This means if you want to visit this part of the USA, the East coast is better at this time of year.
Rain
Rainfall is normally very low in February, with an average of just 53mm of rain falling over 6 days. That is great news if you're hoping for a dry holiday.
Sunshine
You may only get six hours of sunshine per day, but that is enough to keep the temperatures mild snow is never a risk here.
Sea Temperature
The sea temperature is also mild at an average of 24°C. Many people who come to this resort to enjoy the beaches like to do so in the height of summer, when it can rise up as high as 30°C, so a visit during this month is perhaps best suited to staying in the city rather than on the beach.
However, if you do visit the sands, you will find them quieter than during peak temperature months and still acceptable for sunbathing and swimming during the warmest hours of the day.
