What's the Weather like in Miami in August
Temperature
Average daily temperatures of up to 28°C are common this month in Miami, so if you are planning a visit, make sure that you are keeping up with all of the necessary sun protection. On the other hand, the sun by itself might not be a problem at all: it's the humidity which can make it somewhat uncomfortable here during the month of August.
Rain and Humidity
You may wish to check the weather forecast on a daily basis, as it can be slightly unpredictable at this time of year. The main reason is the heavy rainfall. An average of 160mm rain will fall this month over around 15 days, and while this is not the wettest month, or as west as June, you can feel that the wet season is just around the corner. The humidity will continue to rise as the water combines with the heat of the sun.
High/Low Temperature
That heat will be going up to a maximum of 31°C on average, with lows reaching 24°C meaning there is not a lot of respite.
Sea Temperature
You can attempt to cool off in the sea, though with an average water temperature of 30°C, it might not be much help! If you like the heat, however, then this is the perfect time for a swim the warm waters will feel magnificent.
Sunshine
There are an average of 11 hours of sunshine every day here, which explains why the nightlife seems to go on forever. This is a very popular part of the USA at this time of year, so make sure that you make the most of it and try to seek out the less-crowded beaches.
If you are thinking about delaying your trip for another month, then you should know that September maintains the same kind of temperatures while seeing a whole lot more rainfall.
