What's the Weather Like in Meloneras in March
Temperature
During the month of March, the weather in Meloneras finally starts to take a turn towards spring. The average daily temperature rises to 18°C, which is mild and certainly warmer than the preceding months. Highs of 21°C will feel lovely and warm, while lows of 15°C are still manageable.
Sunshine
An average of 10 hours of sunshine will be felt every day now, giving you a bit more daylight in which to explore the local area and contributing to the warmer weather.
Sea Temperature
The sea temperature remains at 19°C though, despite the fact that the days are getting longer.
Rainfall
Nonetheless the really great news is that the wettest weather is behind you for the next few months, as only 10mm will fall less than half of what you would have seen in February. Only 6 days of the month are affected by the rainfall, making it a dry month overall.
The Canary Islands see generally steady weather patterns, as they all enjoy the same sort of formation a central area normally based on volcanic rock, surrounded by coastline which can be a little more exposed. If you head up the coast here to San Agustin, you can see that the temperatures are only very marginally warmer, allowing you to understand that the coast sees very similar climates on either side.
The weather is only set to get better here, with April offering higher temperatures and even less rainfall as the dry summer season approaches. The weather forecast offers a generally positive outlook from this point onwards in the year, and the benefit of visiting now is that the resort will not be quite as crowded with tourists as it will be during the summer months.
