Things to do in Maspalomas in November
Enjoy Gran Canaria's breathtaking natural scenery whilst on horseback. Ride through the picturesque cactus fields and pine forests in the area, or canter along the extensive beach of Playa del Ingles. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or experienced rider, as there are a number of different horse treks available for all ages and abilities.
El Faro de Maspalomas (Maspalomas Lighthouse) is one of the most popular tourist sights in the area. This 68m tall lighthouse is located at the southern point of Maspalomas, right next to the beach. This is a great place to walk to for a morning or afternoon stroll; you could enjoy a coffee at one of the cafes, bars and restaurants located in the area.
Not far from El Faro de Maspalomas will you find the spectacular Maspalomas Dunes. You may mistake this place for the Saudi Arabian desert, but in fact this vast expanse of sandy peaks is all natural! This is definitely a must see place whilst staying in the area, however, saying that it is practically impossible to miss.
If you want a day out why not head to the neighbouring resort of Playa del Ingles. This place also offers its very own golden sandy beach, watersports, bars, restaurants, souvenir shops and large shopping centre.
