Maspalomas offers superb conditions for water sports whether you're a beginner or consider yourself pretty experienced.
The Gran Karting Club in Maspalomas, Gran Canaria offers multiple go-karting tracks, which are appropriate for all abilities. The Karting club is located right next to the sea, offering wonderful surroundings. If you're little ones want to be the next Louis Hamilton then this is a great place to bring them to for a couple of hours.
However, if you're looking to visit somewhere where you don't have to fork out any money, La Charca may be just what you are looking for. La Charca is made up of two natural ecosystems including the Maspalomas Sand Dunes and the Maspalomas Pond. The pond is basically a coastal saltwater lagoon that was a former salt marsh. Dates for the diary
St John's the Baptist Day (San Juan) takes place every year on June 24th. This special event celebrates the history of Las Palmaas, with many traditional rituals and festivities, as well as open-air concerts, sporting events and theatrical performances.
