Mancora is a seaside resort in the Piura Region of North West Peru. With its golden sands and turquoise beaches, Mancora is the ideal place to spend oneâs holiday for lazy days sunbathing on the beach and enjoying a lively nightlife. It has pleasant weather all year round and tourists flock to its long stretches of sandy shore. During the night time, Mancora tends to receive rain (at least, more so than during the daytime) and cool breezes. Summer in Mancora runs from December to March and is the hottest time of the year, boasting warm average high temperatures at 30°C and above. The coldest it will get is around 22°C, which is still rather pleasant and warm! Although Mancora boasts warm and pleasant weather all year round, summer is truly to time to visit Mancora for the greatest tan possible. At a maximum, Mancora receives 6 days of some rain or drizzle in the month of February but only has two days of precipitation in December. March is wettest month of the year, with only 128 millimetres of rain. Whilst sun cream is a must for a visit to Mancora, so is an umbrella should you be caught up in the rain. Visitors are advised to check the weather forecast before their arrival.
Autumn falls in the months of April, May and June with average high temperatures hanging around the 30°C zone. The âcoldestâ the average low temperature gets to in Autumn is a warm 21°C during the month of June, so sunbathing on Mancoraâs beaches is still entirely possible. Autumn receives much less rain compared to summer, particularly during June, with only one millimetre of rain altogether! Rain during the autumn months tends to fall in the form of drizzle.
Winter in Peru is during the months of July, August and September and is the coldest time of year, although the coolest average low temperature is merely 19°C, still providing beautiful weather for a relaxing holiday. The hottest Mancora becomes at this time of year is normally a hot 27°C, perfect for creating that sun-kissed look. Rain falls seldom during the winter months, just one millimetre each month, making winter the driest time of year in Mancora. It is likely that the rain will come and go before you know it!
Spring runs from October until November and still boasts pleasant weather, with average high temperatures at a hot 28°C. Temperatures may drop to a comfortable 20°C, giving habitants and tourists alike all a break from the hot weather with a cool breeze. Spring is a very dry time of year with only two days of precipitation each month.
