Things to do in Makadi Bay in July
Cool off from the sizzling heat with a trip to Makadi Water World. This spectacular water park is Egypt's largest and offers something for the whole family to enjoy, with 50 different water slides, including a 19-metre freefall slide, tunnels and a mini park for the little ones. There's also a number of cafes and snack bars available onsite.
If the strong sunshine leaves you seeking shade, visit the Marine Biology Museum Museum in the nearby resort of Hurghada. A great afternoon out for the whole family, this museum also features a small aquarium where you can watch a number of colourful fish species.
Relax by enjoying a round or two at Madinat Makadi Golf. This 18-hole championship course is one of the longest in the area and features great views over the Red Sea. The course's Club House is a great place to cool off with a refreshing drink or dip in the large pool.
