Burial of The Sardine in Son Carrio 🛐
The “entierro” is theatrical — a mock funeral procession for the sardine (symbolic cleansing), full of costumes and satirical floats. Carnival (Weekend before Lent) 🦹

Balearic Islands Day 🗓
March 1st marks the Day of the Balearic Islands – a public holiday in Majorca – and is celebrated with a variety of traditional markets, music concerts, art displays, children's entertainment and more throughout the island. For more family-friendly fun, head to Palma de Mallorca During these times, Palma comes to life with a funfair, complete with a 60 metre-tall ferris wheel.
