Magaluf is located on the Spanish Island of Majorca and is renowned as one the world's best party destinations.

You will definitely feel at home in Magaluf as many of the restaurants serve traditional pub grub from fish and chips with mushy peas to steak and ale pies. However, if you would rather try out some of the local Spanish cuisine there are many places which serve paella, freshly caught seafood and tapas. You could also venture out to Olivar Market in the nearby capital Palma de Mallorca open from Monday to Saturday. This large covered market offers some of the best sourced food in the whole of Majorca. You can find fresh lobster and crab or take your pick from a wide variety of olives, cheeses and interesting vegetables.

Spanish

The most well known Spanish dish is 'paella', traditionally it should be cooked on an open wood fire in a large based pan. The most common ingredients found in paella are seafood, chicken and chorizo sausage mixed with rice. Bread is also usually accompanied with Spanish food, served with extra virgin oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping.

'Tapas' is often eaten by the locals in bars across Spain. They are usually served as appetizers or snacks and the main ingredients are olives, ham, cheese and 'chopitos' (fried baby squid).

La Bodega serves traditional Spanish and Mexican cuisine. Spicy Fajitas are a speciality here and you may choose to wash it down with a locally sourced wine or try a delicious Margarita. Pardos on the other hand offers fresh grilled sea bass and authentic paella. Similarly, Restaurante El Mundo serves up great tapas, pizzas and Italian Tiramisu. Whilst if you are looking for somewhere which is great value the Beach Club does amazing breakfasts and paella, complete with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Casa Blanca's BBQ and Grill Restaurant is located right next to the tallest Sling Shot in the world. So maybe it is best if you eat after you go on the ride. This restaurant offers a BBQ grill and traditional Spanish cuisine such as Piminetos de Padrón (small green peppers) and jugs of ice-cold Sangria.

British and American

If you would rather stick to British pub grub or an American burger there are many restaurants in Magaluf which offer dishes similar to what you would find back home.

Hen and Stag parties will receive a 15% discount from Tom Brown's if they are in a group of eight or more. This restaurant serves a full English breakfast all day long or you can feast on Yorkshire puddings and jacket potatoes. Pirate's Beach Bar & Grill describes itself as having Magaluf's "Meanest Burgers" which come with a variety of toppings from gherkins to spicy jalapenos and you can choose from a selection of wraps and gourmet hot dogs.

Foxy's is located on the Magaluf Beach front so it is the perfect place to sit back and relax whilst enjoying a Sangria. This restaurant serves up a wide range of pizzas, burgers and enticing cocktails. Palm Beach Restaurant is also situated on Magaluf Beach, throughout the day they serve fresh baguettes and salads whilst in the evenings you can choose from a variety of steaks or seafood grilled on volcanic rocks.

You can't go wrong with RAMBOS which specialises in homemade roast dinners.  Choose from simple egg and chips to delicious sirloin steak at a very cheap price. Just round the corner from Magaluf's main strip is Rockahunnys which serves up classic pub grub such as bacon rolls or sausage and mash for just 1! But if you fancy a Cornish pasty or some delicious chili cheese fries head to The Upper Crust located at the entrance of Punta Ballena.

Or you could try The Boatyard which is found along Magaluf's beach promenade. You can decide from a wide range of burgers, pasta dishes and pies. Or why not sit down and enjoy a cocktail whilst taking in the ocean views.

If you are looking to splash out the cash Nikki Beach Mallorca offers a tantalizing selection of American and Mediterranean cuisine. This beach club also hosts exclusive themed parties throughout the summer months from 'dress in white' to 'full moon' parties; you may even spot the odd celebrity walking around!

Asian

There are a few Indian restaurants in Magaluf that serve the British favourites from tandoori chicken to onion bhajis, however there are not as many of these restaurants as you think there would be.

Not far from the harbour on Magaluf Beach is Nawaab which serves fresh Indian cuisine but at quite an expensive price. If you are into spicy food they offer an explosive madras or vindaloo. Similarly, Poonam Indian Restaurant cooks typical Indian food such as chicken tikka masala served with popadoms and a variety of chutneys at a very reasonable price.
