Lyon is a city which is universally known for its culture, architecture, and gloriously magnificent food. In the past, it was also quite famous for the silk weaving industry that took place there.

Tourists may like to take boat rides on the river to experience an afternoon in the sun and enjoy the view. This is a relatively inexpensive afternoon trip that the whole family can enjoy.
