What's The Weather Like In Los Gigantes In February

Temperature

Along with January, February tends to be the coldest month of the year for Los GigantesTenerife, although it's still much warmer than the UK. Casa Gracia

If you'd prefer something more private, take a look at Casa Gracia. This large two-storey apartment boasts views of the marina, cliffs and the sea from the upstairs and downstairs terraces and forms part of a small and quiet complex made up of only five apartments. The main features are two bedrooms each of which comes with two twin beds two bathrooms, two toilets, fully-equipped kitchen, lounge with satellite TV, barbeque cooking facilities and WiFi access.

Restaurante Asturias

If you're in the mood for some authentic Spanish cuisine, consider dining at Restaurante Asturias. Located in the centre of the resort in the local square next to the church, this restaurant offers a large menu full of classic Spanish and Canarian dishes, including mussels in tomato sauce, seafood paella, garlic chicken and even Italian-inspired homemade pizzas. There is an a la carte menu to choose from, as well as a value-for-money three-course set menu which also includes a drink.

Pastelería Bamboo

Satisfy your sweet tooth by popping into Pastelería Bamboo. This bakery offers a huge selection of white and brown breads, cakes, desserts, ice cream and filled baguettes all of which are made onsite and are freshly-prepared to order. A small drinks menu with teas, coffees, soft drinks and natural juices is also available. Pastelería Bamboo is open Monday-Saturday from 8am until 7pm and you can choose what you want from the counter or place your order in advance over the phone.

Things To Do In Los Gigantes In February

Flipper Uno

Families holidaying in Los Gigantes with kids won't want to miss the opportunity to go on a whales and dolphins excursion with Flipper Uno. This company is one of the longest-standing whales and dolphins tour groups in Tenerife and is based in the Los Gigantes marina. Each boat tour leaves the marina and heads along the iconic Los Gigantes cliffs where whales and dolphins usually gather before it reaches Masca. You'll have the chance for a quick dip in the bay at Masca before the boat turns around and heads back for Los Gigantes.

Playa de La Arena

For something a bit livelier than Los Gigantes, spend the day at Playa de La Arena. Just a short bus ride away from los Gigantes, this resort is renowned for its black sandy beach which is a great place to sunbathe, swim, snorkel or scuba dive. Behind the beach you'll find a long promenade lined with international restaurants, bars and shops selling everything from souvenirs to groceries.
