Los Cristianos is located on the south coast of the Canary Islands, Spain.
This quiet fishing town was turned into an international tourist spot after it was discovered by a Swede retiree sometime in the 18th century. Since then, more and more people from Europe started to migrate there
Although Spanish is the national language, English is also widely spoken.

The Main Holiday Season
Los Cristianos is known as the 'Island of Eternal Spring' because of its dry and warm temperature all year round, which is perfect for holidays and beach activities.
However, the busiest months are from June until November. The daytime temperature is around 27°C dropping to around 20°C in the evenings.
During the summer months, there is low likelihood of rain; the rainy season is from December to January.
Popular Activities/Excursions
The Tenerife Zoo Monkey Park houses all different types of animals, however, the zoo's main inhabitants are monkeys.
There is the Aqua Park which is for both children and adults. They have the mildest rides as well as the most outrageous ones. They also have a Dolphinarium where you can see live dolphin shows.
The Must Cat is a popular cruise that offers food, drinks and music.
There is also an 18-hole golf course for golf lovers to enjoy.
Activities like bungee-jumping, go-carting and horse or camel riding can also be found here.
Beaches in Los Cristianos
Playa De Los Cristianos is the primary beach within the Harbour. There are plenty of activities to choose from, like beach volleyball or water sports like skiing and surfing. There are also showers and children's play areas.
The Las Vistas Beach is a man-made beach that can be found near the following bay a little further over than the Harbour. It is conveniently protected by the break waters. It comes with showers and play area for kids as well. It also provides handy information for tourists.
Nightlife in Los Cristianos
Compared to its neighbour, Playa de Las America, Los Cristianos has a more relaxed atmosphere.
A few recommended places to try are Aquariom or the Bar El Cine, the Busbys, Byblos or the Cheers Family Bar.
Although perhaps more relaxed and subdued, the nightlife in Los Cristianos is still something to enjoy and can make a holiday here worthwhile.
