Los Cristianos Beach itself is one of the most popular beaches in the south of Tenerife, if not the whole island. The beach can be found located just east of the resort, which is sheltered by a small bay. There is also a large pedestrianized area, as well as shops, restaurants, cafes and bars within close proximity.
If you love scuba diving you should definitely try Las Galletas Beach, situated in the south of Tenerife. If you don't mind venturing out a bit further on a sunny day you should definitely visit Los Abrigos Beach. Things to do in Los Cristianos in March
There are a number of open-air markets available to shoppers on Saturday mornings both in Los Cristianos and in nearby towns as well. Within these, tourists can shop for many hand-crafted items. There is also duty-free shopping in Tenerife on items such as perfume, cameras and clothing. A little-known fact about the area is that it is a large provider of cultured pearls.
On a sunny day the Central Park of Arona is worth visiting. This is a public park that measures a staggering 42,000 square metres. This attractive park is made up of numerous squares and gardens, which can be found in the tourist centre of Playa de las Americas. The park was opened recently in 2004 and was deigned by GBGV Architects and the botanist Carlo Morici. If you want to see the native flora and fauna of the Canary Islands, this is the place to visit.

Siam Park is considered as one of the largest and most exciting water parks in the whole of Europe. The Park boasts a vast array of adrenaline packed water slides, wave simulators and rapids to enjoy.
Tenerife and Los Cristianos offer pleasant weather all year round, meaning golf is a superb sport to play whilst staying on the island. Los Palos Golf Course is a par 27, nine-hole course, located just five minutes away from the popular resorts of Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos.
