Les Miserables

Culture vultures will be eager to see Les Miserables the longest running musical in the world. This classic performance focuses on the saga of Jean Valjean who, after 19 years on parole, is released from prison and struggles to get his life back on track.

Some of the most popular songs from the musical include I Dreamed a Dream, One Day More and At the End of the Day. Les Miserables is performed at the Queen's Theatre London and tickets get snapped up quickly, so make sure you book as far in advance as you can to ensure you get a good seat.

Bomber Command Memorial

If you're interested in Britain's history, stop off at the Bomber Command Memorial. Dedicated to the 55,573 young members of the Bomber Command crew who lost their lives whilst fighting, this memorial is striking and can be very emotional. Don't forget to take your camera with you you won't want to miss the chance to snap some shots of this magnificent statue.

The Wallace Collection

The Wallace Collection is one of the most popular art attractions in London. This comprehensive museum is open every day and offers free admission to the 25 galleries which display all sorts of 18th century French paintings, porcelain and furniture.

If you want to find out all you can about the art, join one of the free highlight tours which take place at 1pm each day. In addition to the regular displays, the Wallace Collection is also home to various temporary exhibitions, so there's always something new and interesting to see.

Houses of Parliament

Visitors who are interested in politics should definitely pay a visit to the Houses of Parliament during their stay in London. The building is open to all local and overseas visitors who want to attend debates, sit in on committee meetings or enjoy a tour of the building.

Please note that essential refurbishment works are being carried out from early 2017 and will be completed by 2020. Plenty of alternative tours are on offer throughout the Houses of Parliament during this time.
