Located in the Tossachs National Park, Loch Lomond is a freshwater Scottish Loch in the Argyll and Bute district of Scotland, in the UK. At 36.4 km long and between 1 and 8 km wide it is the largest lake in the UK by surface. The loch has many islands, including Inchmurrin, the largest fresh-water island in the UK.
