What's the Weather like in Lloret De Mar in May
Lloret de Mar really begins to heat up in May. You can expect to enjoy warm temperatures of around 23°C with plenty of sunshine. The evenings are also a lot milder in May, with an average temperature of around 11°C after sunset. Those high and low temperatures are four degrees higher than in April and that rising trend is continued in the course of the month. The average daily high temperature, for example, rises from 20°C on May 1st to 24°C on May 31st. A similar rise is observed in the daily low temperatures. They rise from 8°C to 13°C in the course of May. The overall daily temperature averages 17°C. All these temperatures are comparable to those in October. The Mediterranean Sea also begins to warm up in May and now reaches an average temperature of 18°C, three degrees more than April. It will rise another three degrees in June.
Rainfall also increases greatly in May it is the wettest month of the year. May receives 87mm of precipitation in total and has 11 days of rainfall; both numbers are the highest of the year. Located between two hills, Santa Cristina Beach is a calm beach sheltered from the wind and waves. The sea is always calm, making it an ideal place to visit with small children. The beach lies near the Santa Cristina chapel and can be reached along a sandy and tree-lined path. There are showers, beach lockers, an ice cream and drinks kiosk, and an umbrella rental store.

In addition to amusement and games, Magic Park is also home to a nightclub, Privé Disco. It has three separated dance floors, offering a variety of atmospheres in the same disco. There's also a VIP lounge area, a wine club and a cocktail bar. Privé Disco organises theme nights several times a week.
For great food, you could go to Can Bolet, located on a small street near the resort's beachfront. The restaurant offers friendly service and has extensive menus featuring a wide range of dishes. Things to do in Lloret De Mar in May
A strongly recommended thing to do, especially in May when the temperatures aren't too high, is going on a coastal walk. The walk between Lloret and Fenals Beach is regarded as one of the most beautiful on the entire Costa Brava. This pleasant 40-minute walk starts at the end of the maritime promenade in the resort at the Museum del Mar and ends at Fenals Beach. On the way you will pass rocky coves, reefs, pine groves and attractions such as Sant Joan's Castle, the statue of Fisherman's Wife and the Canaletes Fountain.
For indoor fun you should definitely head to Magic Park, the largest indoor amusement park in the region. It's located right in the centre of the resort and consists of three fun-filled levels. The first level contains simulators, more than a hundred video games and a mini-casino. The second level offers pool tables, bowling alleys, basketball machines, tabletop football and remote controlled trucks. This modern amusement park also has a unique indoor track of bumper cars.
