Another surfer paradise by Lisbon is the Praia do Sul. Very close to the town centre, there are plenty of places to eat and even a hotel nearby.

The Blube do Peixe
The Blube do Peixe is another Michelin star restaurant near the Jardim do Camp Pequeno. Great seafood and a maritime themed atmosphere is found inside.
Casa Nepalesa
For something exotic try the Casa Nepalesa. Nepalese food is their forte. It is popular and gets heavily booked so make reservations if you crave something different for dinner.
Tasca Kome
For Japanese, try the Tasca Kome. A bit off the beaten track though in downtown Lisbon, visitors familiar with Japanese dining will enjoy the sushi, draft Kirin Ichiban, and the sake.
O Policia
O Policia has been around since at least the late 18th century. Simple with great Old World cuisine, it can be found near the Hospital De Santa maria and the Fundaco Clouste Gulbenkian Gallery and Museum.
Things to do in Lisbon in August
Castle of the Moors
Located in the Parques de Sintra, the Castle of the Moors is a very interesting historical site, built in the 10th century by the Moorish invaders. There are lots of other things to do at this park including horse riding and carriage tours, walking tours and musical events.
Palace of the Marquises
The Palace of the Marquises is a beautiful, elegant period home with beautiful gardens and very interesting architecture.
Portuguese Nature Trails
If you like bike riding and nature, the Portuguese Nature Trails provides very unique customized tours around Lisbon and elsewhere.
Pena Park
in Sintra with its romantic gardens and walking paths is worth a visit.
Santa Justa Elevator
The views from the steam-powered Santa Justa Elevator are phenomenal. Over 100 years old, it is located in the Barrio Alto neighbourhood.
Belem Tower
Belem Tower was built on the banks of the Tagus River and was supposed to be the gateway to the city at the time. A great place to view at night with the lights of the city of Lisbon as a backdrop.
