December is one of the coolest and dampest times of the year to visit Lindos, Greece. During this month, temperatures can reach up to 17°C at the warmest point of the day, dropping to a chilly 10°C after sunset. Art and history enthusiasts won't want to miss the chance to visit the Church of the Panagia. Inside the church you'll find many beautiful frescoes to admire, as well as a small museum which houses more artwork and artefacts.
Although it may not be warm enough to sunbathe, Kalathos Beach is still a wonderful place to spend a few hours. Here you can enjoy strolling along the coast whilst the waves lap on the shore or stop off at one of the beach kiosks for a coffee and a bite to eat.
Keep an eye out for bars and restaurants advertising special Christmas or New Year's Eve menus. At this time of year, most establishments are packed with people celebrating the holidays, creating a friendly, lively atmosphere throughout the resort.
