Limoges is located in western France, between Paris and Bordeaux and is known as the home of the famous Limoges porcelain

Modern architecture combines with buildings dating from medieval times.  Little alleyways and lovely shops make for interesting walks through the city.

You may enjoy a visit to the Porcelain Museum, where you can view antique examples of the Limoges' porcelain.  For collectors, the city is dotted with shops where there is a great variety from which to choose.

One of the best values for a stay in Limoges is the Hotel de Paris which is in the city centre.  The family run hotel is within walking distance of many of the city sights and offers prices that will suit any tourist on a budget.

Alternatively, slightly away from the city is La Traverse Chambres d'Hotes B&B comes highly recommended with past guests and is easy to get to.
