November is much cooler and wetter than previous months as the summer season is now over.
Many hotels, bars and restaurants will be closed at this time of year however available accommodation will be much cheaper as it is low season. If you do your research you can find a bargain!
Daytime temperatures reach a pleasant high of 17°C (63°F) and in the evenings it can cool to around 11°C (52°F).
November is also one of the wettest months in Lefkada.
On a warm, sunny day you can wear lighter clothing, however light jackets and umbrellas would be advisable to pack as well.
If you prefer quieter, calmer holidays then this is a good time of year to visit. There is still a lot to see and do in Lefkada.
There are many beautiful churches in the town, and several ruined windmills dotted around the entire island. The numerous fishing villages along the coast are very picturesque and are worth a visit.
Nature lovers should take a ferry to the nearby island of Meganisi. Here there are many trails winding through the hills, and the cooler weather means it is an excellent time to visit and do some hiking. Bikes can also be hired for those that prefer cycling.
You can also go further afield to the island of Kefalonia which has many sites to see including a Roman Villa with some very well preserved mosaic floors. Several artefacts are on display, however more of them are located in the archaeological museum in the capital city of Argostoli.
