Things to Do:

Besides the beach, there's plenty of history and culture to enjoy in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. If the weather's still bad, Las Arenas is one of the largest shopping centers on the island and is a great place to look for souvenirs.

Eating and Drinking Out:

El Rincon Aragones is about as close as you can get to the beach while still enjoying great food and drinks. The restaurant faces the popular Las Canteras beach and serves local Spanish cuisine with a focus on fresh seafood. It's most famous for its mojitos.
