The mercury dips into the single digits again at night in Decemberhe average low is 9°C. In the afternoon, however, the temperature still climbs to a comfortable average high of 18°C. The sea temperature is definitely too cold to swim now, averaging no more than 13°C.
Cloud cover almost reaches its annual maximum in December. It rises from 39% to 46% in the course the monthhe annual high of 47% is reached in January. This increase in cloud cover results in much more rainfall in the resort at this time of the year.
In fact, December is by far the wettest month of the entire year, receiving about 90mm of rainfall throughout the month, spread out over 12 days with rainfall. The probability that rainfall occurs increases in the course of December. December 1 is the driest day of the month with a 34% chance that it will rain; December 31 is the wettest day with a chance of rainfall of 42%. Light rain may fall as well, but only on 14% of the rainy days.

By December, the cooler weather may mean the beach isn't such an appealing option anymore, but there are more ways to enjoy the coast than by sitting out on it in your swimwear. A sail trip around the area is a great way to relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. Whether you want to go on a cruise or get a glimpse of what lies beneath with a trip out in a glass bottomed boat, there are plenty of different ways to enjoy a trip out on the high seas.
Other outdoor activities that you may consider in December include fishing, hiking, cycling and mountain biking. All these fun things can be done either in the resort itself or in the surrounding countryside.
