What's the Weather like at Lara Beach in March
Temperature
Spring has arrived on the Mediterranean coast and Lara Beach and from now on the coldest weather is left behind with warmer days to come. March sees the temperatures rise again and the amount of rainfall drop as fine and sunny weather returns to the coast. The average temperature has increased again to 13°C that sits between the average high/lows of 7°C to 18°C. The days are getting warmer and it is pleasant to be outdoors in the sun even if the beach may feel too cold. Bars and Restaurants
Aynali
On the harbour in the Old Town is Aynali with great views and excellent service. One diner needed food altered to suit her dietary needs and it was done without any problems. Fresh seafood is on the menu with a variety of Turkish dishes such as meze and grilled fish and salads. The fish platter and prawn dishes are favourites and people always seem to come here more than once while in the area. The wine list is extensive with local and international wines and the only limit seems to be the small dessert menu.
7 Mehmet
For great local Turkish food and excellent service try 7 Mehmet in the Ataturk Culture Park. Much of the produce is local and comes from this area of Turkey such as meat and olive oil and fresh vegetables. Aged goat's cheese and calamari salad are specialties of the house and crowd favourites. Fish also feature with white grouper and swordfish on the menu. Children are welcome and you will not leave her feeling hungry.
Things to do in Lara Beach in March
Troy Aqua
Troy Aqua is a water park that is open all year round. In winter months the dolphin show is on twice a week on Wednesday and Saturday. There are slides and lots of fun for the entire family. There are dolphins, seals and whales and you can have a meal at the restaurant and a drink from the bar.
Mini City Antalya
If you want to see all of Turkey in one place, visit Mini City Antalya that is a miniature city with buildings from all over Turkey. See all of Turkey's famous monuments in one place but in a smaller size such as Hadrian's Gate, Yivli Minaret Mosque, Aspendos Theatre and the St Nicholas Chapel.
