What's the Weather like at Lara Beach in June
Temperature
Summer is here and the days are heating up so you will need to use sunscreen and keep out of the sun in the hottest part of the day. June has an average temperature of 25°C between the average high/lows of 18°C and 31°C. Day time temperatures can go higher and get into the mid to high 30's making for great days relaxing at the beach or by the pool.
Rain
Rainfall had dropped for the hit dry summer with an average rainfall of 10mm falling over just 3 days. The amount of rainfall will remain low and it won't start to increase until during October when cooler temperatures and wetter weather is expected. The chance of rain has plummeted to a low 10%. Even though the weather is hotter, humidity has decreased again due to the low amount of rainfall. Average humidity has dropped to 60% and will remain at this level for several months.
Sunshine Hours
You will see an average of 12 hours sunshine each day with the chance of a sunny day rising to 70%, up 20% from last month. This is great weather at Lara Beach and if it gets too hot for the beach book a tour to see some ancient ruins.
Summer here sees some foggy days and this month there will be at least one foggy day. Foggy days are only seen here in summer due to the hotter weather and the proximity to the sea and the Taurus Mountains.

Kremlin Palace
The Kremlin Palace is right on the beach and has been built to represent the palaces of the Tsars when they came to the Mediterranean for holidays. The suites are all air conditioned with bathroom and shower and bath, complimentary toiletries, mini bar and satellite TV with information channels in several languages including English, French and German. The main buffer restaurant is open 24 hours a day with all meals and late night and early morning snacks. The a la carte restaurants cover a variety of cuisines including Mexican, Italian, Japanese, Turkish and BBQ. For a lighter meal try the Pancake Tent or the snack bar. The main bar is open for drinks 24 hours a day and other bars are open at various times during the day and the disco bar opens at 11pm.
There is a range of water and land sports on offer complete with a sailing school and learn to dive school. The kids club let you spend some private time pampering yourself at the beauty centre or just relaxing on the beach or by the pool.
Ramada Resort
A new resort at Lara Beach is the Ramada Resort with all rooms having air conditioning, mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities, cable and satellite TV, bathroom and hair dryer, slippers and balcony for great views of the sea and the resort. Choose from a Turkish, Italian or International cuisine from one of the 9 restaurants on site. There is some room service but you will need to check on days and times. There is a great pool with waterslides for lots of fun with a separate pool for the kids. Lots of sports and activities are on offer including river rafting, scuba diving, sauna and a steam room. There is a kids club with lots of fun for all ages.

Diving Turkey
Lara Beach is a great place for diving and snorkelling as the Mediterranean here is clear and blue with good visibility. Diving Turkey is an operator running diving courses and trips at Lara Beach. You can get certified by PADI instructors and then go on a dive trip from the beach. You are able to rent all of the equipment from tanks to suits here so you are ready to explore the amazing waters of the Mediterranean. Choose from a live aboard yacht that takes you to dive sites including sunken ships and spectacular underwater sites or a one day trip in Lara or other nearby towns on the coast.
If diving is not for you grab a face mask and a snorkel and swim around the ocean and wonder at the fabulous marine life you will find. The private beaches that charge a small fee are often cleaner and have more amenities than the public beach but the choice is up to you. The beaches are numbered 1 to 8 and many people recommend number 4.

Rayb Ocakbasi Grill House
Rayb Ocakbasi Grill House is a kebab eatery offering you traditional Turkish treats and great shish kebabs. Try the celery root cooked in olive oil, boiled tongue, lamb and veal kebabs, lamb cutlets and homemade meatballs. They have great Turkish coffee, rose hip and daisy tea to finish your meal.
Koko Yaki
If fresh and beautiful food is for you visit Koko Yaki sushi restaurant in Lara. The food is beautifully presented and vibrant with amazing colours and the freshness is obvious. There is also Chinese food by a chef trained in Tokyo.
Sibel's Four Seasons Cafe and Restaurant
At Sibel's Four seasons café and restaurant you will find a family run café using food grown in their own veggie garden. The food is organic and tasty and fresh. They also run cooking classes so you can learn to make the amazing food on offer from gozlemes to cheesecake.
Things to do in Lara Beach in June
Side
While staying at Lara Beach there is so many other places to visit that you shouldn't miss. Side is such a place is a pleasant half day trip from Lara. Side is full of archaeological sites and relics including the Temple of Apollo where it is said that Antony and Cleopatra would meet. This half day gives you time to wander the old town after a guided tour of the relics.
River Rafting
For some adventure try river rafting on the Koprucay River that flows from the Taurus Mountains and enters the sea at Serik. Boats come in different sizes from 4 to 8 people and a guide is in each boat helping you down the 11 kilometre stretch of river.
