Temperature
From February on the average temperatures will continue to rise towards the summer highs. The average temperature has increased slightly to 11°C between the average high/low temperatures of 6°C and 15°C. The cooler night time lows will slowly increase to a high of 21°C in July and August and the day time highs will more than double for the hotter summer weather. This weather is not ideal for spending time at the beach but there are a range of other activities to occupy your holiday in Turkey. There is a 27% chance of having a sunny day at this time of year and a 37% chance of rain.
Rain
With slightly higher temperatures, the amount of average rainfall has dropped to 130mm falling over 9 to 10 days. Rainfall will decrease at the end of the month with successive months having less rainfall. Humidity is still at the lower level of 65% and will only increase when the temperature increases at the end of spring and in to summer.
Sunshine Hours
Sunshine hours are slowly increasing with the warmer weather and longer days with the average sunshine hours this month of 11 each day. Days will get longer towards the end of the month and the March high of 12 hours of sunshine each day.
You should not expect any foggy days at this time of year and you won't see any until the weather warms into spring and summer. The Mediterranean does not have a lot of foggy days due to warmer temperatures and the moderating effect of the ocean and the cooling ocean breezes. It is windy on the Mediterranean coast and there is a 23% chance of wind and cloud.

In the winter season there are limited beach activities but there is still plenty to do such as relaxing on the beach and using the indoor pools. Delphin Imperial Hotel Lara
Just 10 kilometres from the Antalya Airport is the Delphin Imperial Hotel Lara where you can choose a room, connecting rooms or an apartment for the whole family. Rooms have a sea or land view and are all air conditioned with LCD satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, bathroom with shower, hair dryer and free toiletries. The outdoor pool is only open in the summer seasons but there is an indoor pool and still a lot of sporting activities here. Eat at the buffet restaurant serving from breakfast to late at night or the a la carte restaurant, snack bar and drink at one of the bars. Book a tour from the desk or have room service any time of the day. Be pampered or have a massage at the spa and wellness centre or workout in the fitness centre.

Lara Baliki Evi
The Lara Baliki Evi fish house serves fresh local seafood in an indoor outdoor dining setting on Lara Beach. Specials include sardines, lobster, shrimp and fish with the salt baked lagos a winner with diners. Appetisers include eggplant salad, shrimp and octopus. Service here is good and meals a good size with great views over the Mediterranean Sea.
Alp Pasa Restaurant
The Alp Pasa Restaurant is located in a hotel but also takes visitors who just walk in off the streets. The service and ambience is good with a great buffet meal with French, Italian and other international dishes. You can have any meal here during the day from the breakfast buffet through to dinner at night. It is good value for money and you can sit outside if you want to. Choose from a variety of meat and vegetarian dishes, seafood and breads and salads. You can order from the a la carte menu but many diners enjoy the buffet selection.
Things to do in Lara Beach in February
Antalya Zoo
The Antalya Zoo is a treat for young and old and is open all year with lots of animals to see. There is a reptile house, bird aviary and the monkeys are a favourite with the children as they jump around. A large playground is located near the exit of the zoo so the children can expend any excess energy before leaving. You can buy food and drink at reasonable prices inside the zoo.
Bazaar and Marketplace
The bazaar and market place is a riot of colour and smells and was the original market in the area where people came to buy and trade food and goods. You can buy just about anything here from clothing and craft to food and drinks. There is a currency exchange nearby if you need to change any money and lots of cafes and restaurants serving local Turkish delights.
East of Lara Beach is Sultan Bazaar and Prenses Bazaar where you will find lots of stalls selling clothes and goods as well as food and drinks.
