Lapland is a vast region in the north of Finland. Lapland's climate is somewhere between arctic and continental. It is located partly in the Arctic Circle, but its proximity to the North Atlantic Current warms the weather somewhat, which means it never gets too extreme or uncomfortable and results in varied seasons.
