Just nice from 18th May for 8 days, lots of sunshine and and average of 20 degrees Celsius.
The weather was on average about 20 degrees for May with plenty of sunshine.Holiday
Excellent hotel, lovely and well worth paying extra to have a room with mountain and sea view.
Staff very kind and helpful.
The food was good and plenty, 4 courses for evening meals. Buffet breakfast and plenty to choose from.Recommend Lake Garda to others?

Hotel good but let down by having bakery over the street which was noisy early in the morning.
Trips excellent. Recommend opera in open air in Verona. Verona shops very individual. Eating out excellent. Prettiest resort on Garda is Sermione. Quaintest Malchesine.
Lots to do, something different everyday. Do go round lakeside streets and cafes at night.

Always the best.lake garda is a jewel.2013 will be our 24th stay in gardone riviera.splendid hotel on the lake.days spent visiting the many delightful towns.
I enjoy driving 0n the narrow and congested roads.more thrills than bungy jumping.food generally very good with super service.we also spend another week in bardalino.lovely town.garda is a long way from down under but hey makes a change from gum trees and vegemite.Recommend Lake Garda to others?

The weather was fab' when we went in mid october.
It rained during the night for 3 nights but this didn't bother us as the afternoons were dry and warm, as were the evenings.Holiday
Amazing place! So very, very pretty, quiet and relaxing.
It is very easy to get around on water taxi's to see the other towns.
I stayed in Riva del Garda where the restaurants were all lovely and reasonably priced.Recommend Lake Garda to others?

Hot and sunny everyday for 2 weeks in mid June. Over 30 degrees most days. Had a thunderstorm late one evening but no other rain. Very hazy on top Mount Baldo in the heat.

Just one word will describe it - fantastic.
Malcesine is paradise to us. Beautifully clean as were all the resorts around the lake. Lots of sightseeing and beach activities if required. Evenings were magic with the castle illuminated in the dark, bustling harbour and cafes.Recommend Lake Garda to others?

Great weather for May, 2011. Most days reaching 24-25 degrees- lucky for us, as our hotel manager said the week before rained all week.

Limone is a lovely, mostly pedestrianised promenade,but watch out for the electric buggies with suicidal drivers...
Easy access by ferry to all parts of the lake. Make for the southern lake for guaranteed sunshine.
A relaxing holiday in which you can do as much or as little as you want. This year we have booked a hotel in Sermione on the southern shore, nearer to Verona airport [45 mins transfer time]Recommend Lake Garda to others?

The weather was very warm the first time we stayed, we stayed in Malcesnie- no rain at all.
Lovely place, very friendly. We stayed at hotel Antonella for seven days, which was really nice.
Last year we stayed in Garda for fourteen days. The weather was really hot. We had a couple of storms which didn't last long but were terrific!
We stayed at Le Palme Hotel in Garda. We really enjoyed our stay with them, the food was very good, and the place very clean with some local entertainment.
All rooms have ensuite and either a terrace or balcony.Holiday
We love Lake Garda, it's very relaxing and it's very easy to visit other places from here.
We take the bus, or the ferry, both of which have very reasonable prices.
We like it so much we are going again in a couple of weeks time in May. We are staying at the same hotel.
We find Garda more central to other places, but we visit Malcesnie at least a couple of times.Recommend Lake Garda to others?

It was sunny and pleasantly warm almost all week, although many German and French visitors wore coats.
There is a wind on the lake so I always had a cardigan with me, but rarely wore it.
It rained all morning when we visited Verona, and was cloudy in the late afternoon in Venice.Holiday
I love Italy and the Italian Lakes are no exception.
We stayed in Malcesine which was very pretty, with fabulous views, lots of cafes, restaurants and little shops, and we relaxed and wandered in the little lanes and alleyways, and up and down the lakeside.
A great disappointment that the cable car shut for winter the day we arrived, so we never made it to the top of Mount Baldo.
The hotel was okay, but the food anglicised - would have preferred traditional Italian.
The hospitality was warm and the facilities adequate.Recommend Lake Garda to others?

Sunny and warm. It rained one morning and a whole day. When it rains it sure rains! Out of 11 days I don't think that's bad.

Wonderful and relaxing which is why we return to Lake Garda every 3 years or so. Lots of people of all nationalities but plenty of room for everyone and folk just get on with what they want to do. We stayed in Bardalino.

The holiday was great. The second time we have been there, (first was 6 years ago).

Last year was hot with stormy evenings, previous two years both very hot. Not uncommon to have 33 degrees at 6.00 in the evening.

Fantastic - first went in 2007 when I took my hubby as a surprise 40th birthday present. We have been back every year since and feels like going home.

The Weather was absolutely gorgeous, the whole place is perfect will be visiting it again very soon.
The sun shone every day the accommodation was of good standard, we only had a little rain one night and that went away as fast as it had come, nights were not too hot just rightHoliday
The whole holiday was one the best we have had, We have been to Italy many times but this is our first visist to Garda.
The scenary is magnificant and the boart trip around the lake is not to be missedRecommend Lake Garda to others?

Absolutely fantastic - first week of July!!! Very hot, but facilities in Lake Garda are excellent, plenty of places to cool down and find refreshment. The highest temperature we had was 42 degrees and the lowest, on a fairly cloudy day, was 33 degrees. I took 3 children under the age of 7 and they heat didin't bother them due to the excellent shaded areas, pools, the lake itself and the narrow streets which provide a cool breeze.

Fantastic. Lake Garda has everything, lazy days sat by the bar or the pool, walking, mountain lifts, drives round the small towns surrounding the lake, theme parks, water parks, pedalos and fishing on the lake, fireworks in the evening, evening entertainment, great food and drink for very low prices - much cheaper than we expected Lake Garda to be. An evening meal was on average €10 - (about €7 for pizza and €12 for steak) and at the bar 2 alcoholic drinks and 3 kids drinks was €10.50. We are already going back this year!!!

The Eastern side of the lake, (Malcesine), had the best weather when we travelled in early May. It was comfortably warm and without the strong winds of the Western lakeside. Even the trip up the mountain offered excellent weather conditions.
Holiday
There was plenty to do... whether you like shopping, walking, boat trips, wining or dining. Excursions to Venice and Verona were worthwhile but too short to do those cities justice.
