Average temperatures of 16°C ensure that the weather in Lagos in November is always welcoming. While many Northern Europe locations are settling in for a cold, dreary winter, Lagos still enjoys 8 hours of daily sunshine. And it is this wonderful climate that makes this part of Portugal so popular with walkers, cyclists and sight seers from across the world.

Temperatures as high as 21°C have been recorded in Lagos at this time of year. With the hottest weather experienced in 2001. But even in an average year in Lagos, peaks of 19°C are still common on most November days.

The nights are cooler as the winter set in. In 2013, night time temperatures fell to an all-time record low. But even this was still a very mild 3°C. Usually the temperature at night won't fall below 13°C. Which means a cardigan or extra layer is all that is required for a great night out.

Even the sea temperatures are still a blissful 20°C on average in this part of the Algarve in November. It's the perfect combination of clear skies, beautiful warmth and inviting waters.

It is possible to experience more rain in November than in the peak summer months of July and August. However forecasts for this time of the year show that just 13 days of the month will experience any form of precipitation. And, in the entire month of November, 90mm of rain is likely to fall.  This is significantly drier than other Portuguese resorts such as Lisbon and Porto. And probably a massive improvement on the forecast back home.

Even with an increase in the chance of rain, humidity levels still remain at a very comfortable 75% throughout November. So for anyone that wants to enjoy some warmth to their body with a touch of Portuguese hospitality, Lagos is always a fabulous choice.
