La Graciosa
La Graciosa is a small, beautiful volcanic island in the Canary Islands, reached by a 30-minute ferry crossing from Orzola on the northern tip of Lanzarote. It's part of the Chinijo Archipelago Natural Park.
No cars are permitted on the island, which greatly contributes to La Graciosa's peaceful ambiance. It's a lovely destination for a day trip and the island is famed for its excellent surf beaches, white sand and turquoise waters.
La Graciosa has a school, lyceum, post office, supermarkets, and a bank and you can hire a bicycle if you want to explore the island on wheels.
La Graciosa has a population of around 700, split between two main settlements: Caleta de Sebo and the summer residence of Casas de Pedro Barbra.
