    Weather

Fabulous weather 37 degrees, thankfully a little cooler at nights. Nice and warm but not a par on the August temperatures.

    Holiday

The holiday was great. Have been going to Kusadasi for 19 years. It is my second home. I would recommend Kusadasi to everyone.
If you want Benidorm, go to Marmaris?

  • A perfect holiday that everyone dreams of thats what I had in kusadasi turkey

    Weather

The weather was manageable as we went in the last two weeks of the season in October.

It was in the 30s when we went but the Turkish guys were in their jumpers saying it was cold all the time.

I loved the weather as it was the right temperature to enjoy everything.

    Holiday

It was brilliant we went with Airtours and stayed in a self catering apartment which was nice and clean.

There were rose petals on our beds after everytime they cleaned our apartment out and the rooms were far cleaner than you would find any self catering apartments in the UK.

The Turkish people were so welcoming to me and my friend, whom both are disabled. What I liked the most is how friendly they were and how they were not condescending, as some places I have been to people have been patronising to say the least.

I also loved how trusting the Turkish people were to us. For example, we could pay for our bread in a shop and then help ourselves to the bread out of the warm ovens without showing the shopkeeper how many we took out.

While on holiday we never went on tourst trips with our tour company as they charged rip off prices. For example it was 36 pound a head for a tour of Ephesus and the Rep's told us they had a top professor in his field who specialised in Ephesus.

However, we went with a local tour company and it only cost us 13 pound a head and we had tour guide who had researched about Ephesus and Pamukkale all his life. He told us things that our holiday company did not tell other holiday makers that went with the Airtours group. Also our trip included lunch and a visit to a traditional turkish slik making and rug making factory which was brilliant but no one brought any rugs as they cost a fortune.

We also enjoyed the ships coming into port. We saw the sister ship of the royal yacht Britannia and many huge cruse ships. But be warned you can get woken up by these ships coming into port around 5 to 8.30am in the morning.

Also on Friday is main prayer for Muslim's so along with ships horns you also have people being called to prayer four times a day and it can get very noisy.

A tip for when you go to the markets or the local bazaars is to remeber when the cruse ships are in to say that you are from the resort otherwise you will be charged a rip off price. For example I brought a cap from a storefor a euro and an American guy who you could tell was from one of the cruse liners was charged 25 us dollars for exactly same cap.

If you can go to ladies beach its a fab beach and I had the nicest orange picked fresh from a tree you could ever taste.

When its possible use the dolmus buses as they are cheap and get to you from A to B safely, but be warned dolmus buses can be quiet overfull at times but you do find the locals give their seats up for you most of the time.

When you use any of the local cabs barter a price with the driver before you set off as sometimes a driver can tamper with the surcharges set by their company to get more money out of tourists so its best get set price than be ripped off.

The biggest mistake people seem to take is not to take a raincoat with them thankfully we took ours with us but when it rains in Turkey its rains like a shower head in the bathroom. Also Kusadasi is prone to flooding when its rained. I also suggest people whom have mobility problems or whom have problems getting up and down steps may find kusadasi not suitable to get around safely as the kerbs are like big boulders to get down.

I also don't recommend kusadasi to people in wheelchairs as there are no dropped kerbs anywhere around which is a great shame as kusadasi is a beautiful place to stay in.

    Weather

Its November and the sun is shining enough so you can wear a light sweater over a T-Shirt. A change to London in November.

    Holiday

Arrived to see a huge cruise ship in the harbour, beautiful.

Pamukkale, Selcuk, Aydin, Ephesus and so much more to see.

The hotel was great for location, directly on the front near the Birds of Freedom statue.

    People lovely and friendly.

Do accept cay (tea) when offered, its dark and sweet, enjoy.

    Weather

i visit kusadasi every year in the first 2 weeks of july. the weather is always absolutely fantastic, with this year being hotter than ever. if your a sun worshipper this is the place to be !! the temperature was the high 40's. the evenings were cooler but still very warm.

    Holiday

i have always enjoyed my times in kusadasi. i have made many friends there . the people are so friendly and go out of their way to help you and make your stay enjoyable. the food is fantastic and i havent had a complaint to make in the 5 years i've been holidaying there , sounds to good to be true doesnt it but thats just the way it is . i have enjoyed a very varied night life in the little bars and restaurants along ladies beach to the rowdy bars and pubs along Bar street, i have always feel safe walking around the place at night . and the beaches are all very different and very good, but ladies beach will always remain my favourite.

    Weather

We first went in May for one day as we where on a cruise that stopped there, the second time was for 10 days, the weather was beautiful but cool when the sun went down

    Holiday

We loved taking the Dolmas into the town centre as our hotel was about 3 miles away, some days we would walk along the promenade passing ladies beach and loads of small restaurants.
We plan to return as the people where so friendly, one restaurant we had lunch at offered to pick us up at the hotel and after we ate drive us back,
We stayed at the Blue Sky Hotel that was supposed to be 5 star, I complained because we paid full price for the supposedly high season but 3 of the 4 restaurants were not open,
Thomas Cook lied to me and refused to refund some of my money despite 4 letters, they stopped writing after that.
