What's The Weather Like In Krakow In June

Temperature

Looking at the annual weather averages for Krakow, it shows temperatures and rainfall similar to those found in the UK during the month of June. With the increasing daily average temperature of 17°C (about 62°F), the summer months mean warmer days and longer amounts of sunshine.  The average high during this time jumps up to 22°C (around 72°F); not hot like other parts of the world see during the summer, but very pleasant.

The lows still dip down to 11°C (about 52°F), so even at the beginning of summer, it can still feel cool, especially at night. You'll still want to bring along a medium to light-weight jacket to wear out and about in the evening hours after the sun goes down.

Sunshine Hours

You may also want to bring along sunglasses as well, as the area gets an average of 6.4 sunshine hours a day, up 30 minutes from the number of hours in May.

Rain

Even though the days are getting warmer and longer, the rainfall chances increase this month. An average of 60 mm of rain falls over the course of 17 days. Definitely pack your umbrella or poncho and be prepared for some wet days during your stay. The chance of rain on any given day is 50 percent, so check the local forecast to know if you'll need to carry that umbrella with you or not. The chance of having a windy day and a cloudy day both fall at 33 percent, and the chance of a foggy day sits at 50 percent.

Even with the increased rain chances, this month is a great time to see Krakow thanks to warmer days and more daylight hours. And, even if it does rain during your stay, the city has plenty of indoor attractions and sights where you can get inside, stay dry and still enjoy Polish culture.
