Koroni<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Koroni is a town in southern Greece. It was a warm Mediterranean climate, with cool and moderately wet winters and hot and dry summers, with plenty of sunshine. It has four distinct seasons, differentiated by temperature and rainfall.
Summer is typically the hottest season of the year and temperatures reach up to around a hot 28°C, providing sufficient sunshine for sunbathing. Some visitors might find summer weather in Koroni uncomfortably hot, so remember to pack summer clothing and plenty of sun cream. Temperatures may also drop to around a slightly cooler 21°C, as well as a cool breeze blowing through Koroni, providing a break from the hot weather. Summer is a very dry time of year in Koroni with only around 4 millimetres of rain altogether each month, all spread out on just one day of precipitation. Rainfall throughout summer should only be light showers and drizzle and itâs rarely long until visitors can return to their sun-beds for that perfect summer tan!
Autumn is, although cooler than summer, still a relatively warm and pleasant time of year. With an average high temperature of around 24°C, visitors and habitants of Koroni alike can still benefit from its Mediterranean climate. Average low temperatures hang around a cool 13°C, but visitors are still advised to bring sun cream with them and to check the weather forecast prior to their arrival. Koroni receives considerably more rain compared to summer, with around 50 millimetres of rainfall over around 4 days of precipitation. November is the wettest month of autumn, with up to 114 millimetres of rain over 8 days of precipitation, so taking an umbrella with you really is recommended.
Winter is typically the coldest season of the year, with average low temperatures hanging around a cool 8°C, so visitors are recommended to pack some warm clothing into their suitcases for their holiday. Temperatures reach up to around a chilly 15°C during the winter months. Winter can be a wet as well as cool in Koroni, with around 80 to a rather wet 134 millimetres of rainfall altogether each month, over up to around 11 precipitation days. Holiday-makers coming to Koroni are advised to check the weather forecast.
Spring is the time of year when the weather (thankfully!) begins to cheer up once more. With an average high temperature of around a pleasant 19°C, the sun begins to shine down on the pretty town on Koroni once more. Although the average low temperature through spring is not overly warm (at around 12°C), it is still warm enough to notice a change in weather! Rainfall in spring is not too heavy, but just enough to make its presence known, with up to 51 millimetres of precipitation altogether over 6 rainy days.
All in all, Koroni is a lovely holiday destination, perfect for a relaxing holiday away from the mad rush of the busy lifestyle you are so used to back home!
