Korcula is a beautiful Croatian island and is a perfect holiday destination with its pleasant climate. It has many beaches and bays, luxurious hotels, a fascinating history and culture as well as ancient towns, villages, olive groves and vineyards dotted around the island. It is the perfect break away from the mad rush in the outside world where you can easily let yourself slip away and relax on its shores, whether youâre staying at a hotel or camping out in the wild. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Summer weather in Korcula brings sunshine to the Croatian island, with an average high of 27°C in July and a slightly warmer 28°C in August. July is the hottest month of the year with a toasty average high of 30°C. The average low temperatures throughout Summer are still relatively warm with 20°C in June, 23°C in July and 22°C in August.

With around 10 hours of sunlight in June and August and 11 hours of sunlight in July, one has plenty of time to sunbathe on Korculaâs beaches and build up that bronze sun-kissed look.
