July is yet another hot month in Ko Phangan with the high average temperature reaching 32C. The average precipitation level is 53 percent, while humidity levels range from 60 percent to 90 percent, sometimes reaching even 97 percent, so it can get pretty humid. However, by the end of the month, the air is getting drier and drier, and the high humidity values will slowly decrease.
Visit Wat Pho in July and take full advantage of the wonderful Thai massage on offer. Wat Pho is a tranquil, peaceful place comprising a beautiful spa with herbal sauna, stunning grounds and a pretty lily pond.
Thong Nai Pan Noi is a superb, secluded beach and the perfect place to head for some serious sunbathing, swimming, snorkelling.
Stay at the Maehaad Bay Resort in Mae Had. As well as great service and excellent facilities it's well positioned near the beach.
Eat out Jip Shop, an intimate, relaxed restaurant with mango salad to die for.
